Shipping & returns

Return & Exchange Policy

We truly insist on providing high valuable products, and to ensure our customers satisfaction. Therefore, we also acknowledge that there might be times that our customers need to exchange or refund the product bought at that point and for this reason, if our customers decide to change their choice within 14 days from the purchase date, we agree on exchanging or returning the product with the following Terms & Conditions apply:

  • If the product is in good condition & the availability of receipt from that particular order/s along with the product packaging that it could be replaced in our showrooms. Otherwise, it can’t be exchanged or returned if there’s no sign of product damage upon purchase.
  • Return & Exchange for electronic devices or smart watches are strictly prohibited upon opening it from the packaging or using it unless it had damage from the beginning while purchasing. Hence, we have the right not to accept the return.
  • Returning or exchanging the product while it’s on special promotion or sale is strictly prohibited.
  • Cash Refund will be made on the same day upon purchase.
  • Refund through bank (Visa, Master Card) requires not less than 4-6 weeks based on the bank’s policies & 196 Telecom isn’t responsible for this delay.
  • Customer has the right to exchange the product/s with coupons, having similar purchase value.
  • Gift certificates are non-refundable.

Warranty (T&C)

  • Warranties differ from one another based on the policies set by certified distributors of the product inside or outside of Bahrain
  • Warranty will be suspended if the product is broken or any part of it damaged upon purchasing period.
  • Every product (warrantied) duration of it is mentioned on the receipt & customer has the right to return the receipt before it expires.
  • Charges will be made upon fixing of that particular product after the expiry of warranty.

Product Delivery Instructions (Warranty)

Procedures differ from one another based upon the agreement with the distributors inside & outside Bahrain

  • T&C for Certified Distributors:

Repair & exchange (under warranty) in certified distributors repair centers for products like (Phones, Computers, Smart Watches, Earphones/Headphones & Sport Watches). Therefore, 196 Telecom has no right to deliver these products to the distributors for repairing, exchanging or sending it to the repair center hence the customer should get back to them accordingly.

  • 196 Telecom

Repair & exchange (under warranty) in 196 Telecom is through the following instructions:

If the issue was from the factory or visible to be fixed directly, or if the product is out of stock in showroom. Customer has the right to exchange with different product weighs the same price value or wait until it becomes in stock. If the product is damaged from the factory with no visibility & needs to be repaired, it will be received from the customer & will be taken under maintenance within 48 hours (Based on the product) from the date of receiving it upon providing receipt of proof which eventually reaches customer satisfaction & following amendments

CHANGES & CANCELLATIONS

If you wish to cancel or modify your order, please send an email as soon as possible to support@196bh.com We will make every effort to accommodate your request. However, once an order has been submitted cannot be cancelled or modified. Once you have received your online order, please refer to our return instructions included with your shipment. Wrong Image: Images are meant for illustrative purposes only. Customer buys a product where the image was wrongly advertised.

Wrong Price: Prices are updated in bulk. If a wrong price is advertised on the website.

Wrong Description: Mistakes may occur while capturing information from the internet. Certain products may have different features in different region. Customer buys a product which may not have a feature which is advertised.

Orders held/delayed

  • Deliveries are subjected to delays if information is incomplete/incorrect.
  • Orders may be placed on hold if the bank raises concern for authentication of the transaction.

Transaction Currency:

The standard transaction currency on our e-commerce portal is Bahrain Dinars (BHD). If the customer is using a credit card supplied by banks other than those in the Bahrain, the amount on the credit card bill may differ due to exchange rate fluctuations and any charges that the card issuer/bank may have debited.
